Arrived on time. I did notice an odor when I opened the package, but it wasn't as bad as other reviewers have said. The smell was almost invisible to me. In terms of performance, I think it's great. It's a good size and has a hole in one end for hanging, although I just hide it in the back of my closet when I'm not using it. Cutting fabrics on this rug is less restricted; I used to just work on bare floors and use the little self-healing mat Daiso gave me if I ever needed to use my rotary cutter. It has a light side and a dark side so that dark and light fabrics can be seen better when cutting. The grid makes measuring much easier and helps me line up edges before cutting for projects.
