First thoughts upon opening the package, ill looking product. You seem to have a lot of free space in the connection. But not enough to say no. After installing it, I rode the bike for two days with no problems. When I got home from work, the clutch was binding due to tolerance and nearly fell apart. The bolt was tightened by rocking the lever back and forth and would not let go of the lever. When I got home, I undid the latch, pressed the lock firmly against the center of the latch, and let it dry. I swapped it out and haven't had any problems since.
