Update: Won't zip up, used once. Nice bag , but carry-bag seams are coming apart.

Latest and last update, June 5 '22:Will not zip up, had used it one night, literally, then stored. So I had 4 stars (previous) due to carry bag falling apart, just went to get ready to use it a second time, madethe mistake of unzipping it for inspection, WILL NOTzip back up, hence 1 star, and not really worth thatat this point.Question to self: What is the purpose ofa sleeping bag that won't zip up,Answer; none, but I can useit to line the trash can or as bedding for puppies.First update; I just looked at all the listing pictures andit appears that they don't want you to compress thebag more than 20% , I'm sure I had it cranked down morethan that, so that could be a part of the issue, but then itwas only compressed during the trip, and if its meant to becompressed no more than 20%, they probably should havelimited the compressibility of the straps. :shrugs:=======I used this once, last year , nice looking bag, worked finein decent weather. The carry bag looks like it was well designed, looks goodtoo but the seam at the bottom of the bag at the end of oneof the compression straps already has a1' tear in it, the threads have just pulled apart and thematerial is shredding, the rest of the seam around thebottom perimeter also shows separation, so the entire bottom is obviously going to separateeventually.I have really babied this product, it went on one trip, wasused just one time, and I stored it with the carry bagstraps in slack mode, very little tension on the straps. My guess is that if you don't compress your bag duringtransport, the bag will stay nice, and of course don'tstore it in compressed mode. If you need to compressthe bag , I would suggest sticking it in a big plastic bag andthen compress it by some other means.

Pros
  • Can be used for a wide range of activities, not just camping
Cons
  • The sleeping bag is too thin to give much warmth
