These shorts broke my heart. I had such high hopes for her! I am an avid cyclist and have an athletic lower body with a small waist. I'm 5'8", 150 pounds and almost always wear medium sized sweatpants rather than small ones due to my long torso and muscular legs. I had high hopes for them because I hate paying $80 for cycling shorts. These shorts were perfect and perfect in every way except the tight medium sized belt pushed right into my belly button and made me nauseous. While I think the waistband is disproportionately tighter than the rest of the shorts, I don't find it too tight and wouldn't mind if it didn't hit me right in the navel and hurt me. If the belt was a little higher they would work. Swimming trunks in size L, which I also ordered, turned out to be too big on all sides. There was too much loose fabric at the crotch, and when I tried to drawstring the belt tight, I had to tie it in a knot right where it was supposed to cut into my, you guessed it, navel. CRZ, please, please, please, just put those shorts up. People want it anyway, and then you don't hit everyone in the navel!
