Review on 👟 Women's Brooks Ghost Black Ebony Size 10.5 Shoes by David Banks

I was warned that these shoes run small and that was a valuable warning. I chose the "Fit as expected" option based on my experience described below. If I were to buy the size I usually buy, I would choose the "Too Small" option. I usually wear normal size 9.5 shoes. I went to the store to try on this brand and my regular size was too small in length and width. I tried on a 10.5 wide shoe (the shoe had a tag that said "Wide" and a "D" on the tongue) and they fit much better. The store didn't have the color I wanted in that size so I checked out Revain. The width options in the Revain sizing chart are narrow, medium, wide and extra wide. I chose "Wide" based on what I saw. When I received the shoes I looked at the tongue and it read 2E for width. I thought crap, these things are going to be flapping around on my feet like crazy. .So I went one size longer and 2 widths larger than what I've been wearing for years. I'm honestly amazed that 59 out of 74 people said this shoe "fits". If I had bought the 9.5, medium width I would have had to return it. I would caution anyone looking to buy these shoes online not to go to the store and try them on before you buy. The shoes are very comfortable and light and I will definitely buy Brooks again. I may eventually switch to round laces as I prefer round laces.
