Review on 🔩 E-Z Lok Stainless Steel Threaded Insert Kit, 1/4"-28 Thread Size, 0.250" Installed Length, Pack of 10 by Jeremy Black

I use 32 tpi. I checked the gauge on a 10-32 inch bolt. The STI crane does not snap into place like in the photo. The faucet says 10-32. I called the company and they sent me a new kit with the same problem. I've googled STI and TPI taps etc but can't figure out if I'm doing something wrong? I went ahead and tried pasting. I inserted the spool into the aluminum threaded hole by gently pushing and pulling on the locking ring as shown in the instructions. Tried a 10-32 screw and it stuck about 1.5 turns on the threads and started spinning the spool. I also noticed that the spools thread nicely into the 10-32 screw, but they seem to loosen when screwed into the aluminum threaded hole. This would make sense since the Tap TPI is wrong.
