2018 Dodge Challenger (9012 bulb)

FOR SHORT REVIEW SCROLL TO BOTTOMI’ve owned several HID plug & play kits and installed various aftermarket halogen bulbs. This is my first LED headlight kit. I’ll do my best to categorize my experience with these bulbs.Color: More on the extreme white side with blue hues. I would say it’s similar to the color of a 7000k PIAA halogen bulb or a 6000k HID kit. I wish it were whiter similar to the OEM hid color (4300k-5000k).Output: The throw is slightly better than my Sylvania Silverstar halogens…

  • The LED bulbs can be more challenging to replace if they fail

This is a review of the LASFIT LED headlight bulbs:I currently own two cars and my older car is a 2004 Honda Accord that originally came in with halogen bulbs. About 6 years ago I decided to remove them and switch to what was then known as HID Xenon Kits. I had spent about $200 on the full kit (see pics posted).I recently came across these LED headlight bulbs and I wasn't sure if they were pretty much the same as the kit I had or not. Luckily, the are just the bulbs and it's simply a plug n…

2017/2018 GMC Acadia light upgrade - confirmed!

2018 GMC Acadia - barely fits, but fits. The end of the fan housing makes contact with the cover for the headlamp, but on obstructively so. At first, I was uncomfortable with the snug nature of the fit, but then realized the benefit of having the extra length of the rear of this unit having some support. The fan openings are not obstructed. Do *not* forget - these LEDs need to be installed so that the LED chips are oriented toward the sides. The plastic base on the light has a removable screw…

2013 Ford Taurus. for my opinion

A vast improvement over the stock HIDs in every way, except perhaps longevity, but time will tell on that one. I found- now this is important mind you!- I had to orient the LED chips so that they were in a 3 to 9 O'Clock position within my headlights. This is accomplished by removing a small Phillips screw and repositioning the lock ring at the base of the bulbs. The difference made by doing this is significant.Oh, it's worth mentioning that the packaging of these lights are superb, and their…

Bright, clean and durable led lamps for our Honda

Well, they made it through a very tough winter and are still working just fine! Have them installed in my wife's Odyssey van since October '16, and with her driving 92 miles round trip each day for work, snow, rain, ice and all that damned roadsalt has not affected the lamps at all, the fans still work fine, the lights are as bright as they were when I first installed them, and, aside from having to adjust the lights down a bit, I have not had to do anything to these lamps at all.Color is a bit

  • Installation process may require professional assistance

I have a 2014 Ram 1500 Sport with projector headlights and VERTICAL fog lights. These installed super fast and easy. NO error codes or flickering at all. Must say, these plug and plays are awsome and are at least twice as bright as the OEM halogen 9006's. Have also just installed my low beam 9012 HIR's, same brand and color match is perfect! Also they fit perfectly behind the dust cover so absolutely NO modification was needed to get the headlights in and sealed back up. And same thing with the

Bright and easy to install

Being a automotive tech and owner for over 30 years I was skeptical at first after reading reviews saying they are loose after install and that they done work after install I figured I would give them a try. I installed the led lights in my wife's 2013 Acadia and was pleased at the brightness compared to the old lights. The only reason I did not give a five start is that fact that the plug in for the lights in bi directional and will only work one way and not the other. So it requires you to…

Put in a '15 Chevy Volt

I have this brand in two other vehicles & they do quite well. In the Volt w/projector headlights, these are alright but not great. I have a feeling that if they were about 20% brighter, they might do a better job. I'm not disgusted, just slightly disappointed.I added 2 pictures, this in left & halogen in right headlight. One shot on low & one on high beam, against lawn chairs.you can judge for yourself. On the street, it does a decent enough job but, not like in the other 2 vehicles with…

WOW - Huge Difference on How Much I Can See!

I had bought a set of these for my wife's car, as the factory lights just don't give enough light in the mountains of CO and they boosted our vision by distance, width, and brightness. So, I bought these for our suburban and it is like I have a new vehicle. I can see the whole road and feel much safer with deer, bighorn sheep and bears out on our roads, as I can see the ditches too. These are that super crisp white beam bulb that you have been wanting to see the road without blinding other…

Super Bright and Crisp!

I'm very happy with these LED headlights. I was holding off on upgrading to LEDs because most aftermarket kits still required some form of modification to get function and fitment right, but these plugged right in and even fit within the stock dust cover. I installed them on my 2012 Chevrolet Volt and they're a HUGE upgrade from the original Halogens. The color temperature is more crisp and natural, and the beam is nice and wide.Driving at night now feels much safer, and I think these lights…

Purchase with confidence.

I received this product earlier than expected. Construction, design, and packaging seem top notch. It was a plug and play install on my 2019 Toyota C-HR XLE that took less than 5minutes. The adjustable LED allowed me to rotate the base for a more seamless install. The fan is quiet and it does not cause interference on the car's electronics or radio, like other products do.As for performance, even though the C-HR uses a halogen projector casing, the LED beam is uniform with a clearly defined…

Here are the pros and cons:For projection headlight (9006/HB4 bulb size)Pros:*very easy to install, just plug and twist tight as stock bulbs.*true 6000k white light, there is no blue tint*instant on/off unlike HID xenon bulbs which requires additional power-up time*fast switch on/off unlike HID xenon bulbs which shouldn't be turned on and off so oftenCons:*scattered beam.very scattered beam on projection headlight…

Good at first, but issues less than 10 months later

At first, theses were great as they were a significant increase in light quality over my stock halogens. My car is small and removal, and replacement, of headlights is not the easiest, but the light and plug do fit fully in the headlight housing. No issues with glare for on-coming traffic.Less than 10 months into having these lights installed, there is significant buzzing noise coming from the fan at the base of the lights. Easily heard from inside the car. I checked to make sure the light…

Great LED for Ford Projector!

Got these due to their high rating here on Walmart. LEDs are tough as most housings aren't designed for LED bulbs. You can get bright, but your headlights turn into flood lights. Any who, decided to take a chance on these and I'm pretty pleased with them. I'll have to take a picture of the pattern, but they work pretty well on my Ford Edge 2012 with stock projector housing. Not a perfect pattern, but it's pretty good and the cutoff is clear in my housing which is a must in order to not blind…

Works well in my 2014 Volt

Overall I am impressed with the light output. Huge step up from halogens. My daily commute is 50+ miles with 50% of that driving in the middle of the night and it's really nice to be able to see further ahead of my car. I feel much safer with these. Installation took me about 15 minutes mostly due to fighting with my airbox to access the passenger side dust cover. (I won, but barely)Having said that I am skeptical of the longetivety of these bulbs. Having the built in fan adds more complexity…

Nice and bright! Not too bright! 9006 Bulbs

After almost three years my Sylvania Xtra Vision headlights were starting to dim a bit. Since I start work early and get off late. I drive in night/dusk conditions. As a driver in his 30s I wanted to update my headlights. But nothing too crazy BRIGHT that would blind other drivers! Having great success with my LED work light I use daily I wanted LED for my car. So when it came to researching new headlight bulbs, I thought why not LED lights for my car? These LED bulbs seem to have quality and…

They Work! for my opinion

I put these in my 2013 Dodge Caravan and they work just fine! They really are "plug and play." I did have to align my headlights after installing these LEDs, but that's common since LEDs are quite bright. You don't want to blind the oncoming traffic! Anyway, not much else to say than that they work!
