Looks lovely with my parasol!
This fan is everything I was hoping. It gives a nice breeze and looks lovely with my parasol. The lace sleeve means I don't worry about it getting marked up in my purse. It does not snap open (yet) like a Spanish fan but opens and closes smoothly if you do it manually. The fan it is replacing served me for about a decade and snapped open easily from the beginning, but over years of use it became a bit loose and I worried it would come apart. I can already feel that this fan is loosening up a bit. It may snap open after a few summers of use: we'll see.
