Review on Dorman 521 575 Suspension Control Select by Gary Generale

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for Mazda 6s 2006!

This is the rear upper control arm that I used on my 2006 Mazda 6s V6 with an automatic transmission. The originals were dead and the bushings were out of place so I decided to change them after 10 years. The price is right and the bushings feel sturdy, as does the lever itself. I usually use Dorman for the suspension and they do too. have great products. Of course they are made in China but I have never had any trouble installing them. If you swap them you might want to swap the shocks as well, as it makes things easier and gives you more wiggle room, but that's up to you. After driving over 700 km they seem to be holding up very well. New bushings should actually prevent my tires from wearing out prematurely as I hope they last longer. The work is not bad for DIY, just take your time and you will get there. Enjoy your new ride! I have pictures of old and new for reference.

Pros
  • Levers and spare parts
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
