I was hesitant to order this as there were several other reviews saying it didn't work for Windows 7 or 64 bit computers. I'm happy to report that it worked perfectly in my case. I'm using a new 64-bit Dell Latitude laptop and printing to a very old but reliable HP LaserJet 2100 TN printer. I was able to install the printer using the Windows Add Printer process with no special steps, settings, or workarounds. I didn't even have to install the drivers that came with the cable. This was fortunate as there are no 64-bit drivers on the hard drive anyway. Computers can be fickle, so I'm not saying this cable is for everyone; This is clearly not based on other reviews. I can only say that the setup went smoothly and worked great for me. If you're having trouble finding the right cable, you should at least try this cable.
