Review on EUASOO Docking Quadruple Universal Ethernet by Alex Tellekson

Good USB-C Dock with No Power

I installed the EUASOO Dock with my MacBook Pro and Dell 7730 workstation, here are the good, the neutral, and the bad. it seems strong, but it's a bit light. Expandable displays on 23" Dell displays (HDMI 1 connection) and 19" HP displays (VGA connection) Mouse and keyboard worked without problems (no problems on both systems) Network cards worked without problems (no problems on both systems) Neutral: requires two UCB -C Connections to your system, tested on Mac and PC. Host port 1 on the docking station provides HDMI 1 and host port 2 on the docking station provides HDMI 2/3 and VGA. Host port 1 on the dock wasn't very secure, it was clearly a port and not a cable. It only turned off when I moved the laptop or dock, otherwise there was no problem. However, since you're plugging and unplugging a lot, it can be a problem if you have to keep plugging it back in. This docking station did not provide power to either the MacBook or the Dell. Both systems showed operation only from the battery. The dock appears to have a USB-C power delivery input, but I haven't tested that. Before I received the unit I received an email from Thea at the SunMus store saying the manual would be updated and emailed if I wanted to. I asked for guidance and asked about dining options but got no response. I waited 4 days. Conclusion: The device works well with ports and I was wondering how they handled the Apple mirroring/extended desktop issue, but the lack of performance, especially given the name and description, is very disappointing. This is the reason for the lower stars as otherwise it is a very nice little dock and the price is right.
