these scissors are fantastic! I like the old school pen. takes a minute to get used to. I mainly use them for vinyl and they work perfectly. They are like huge, very sharp scissors. They can make small bends in any direction and are good for cutting grooves. A plus. THEY ARE MADE HERE IN THE USA. Great tool from a great company. I researched a lot of Malco shears before settling on these, mainly because they are dated and handle curves well. Even better if you have big hands. You'll find that you actually put your fingers in the inner notches to open the jaws all the way, but that's how I used to use them, so once you get used to it, it's not a hindrance, it's a good design. I SAID THESE THINGS ARE MASSIVE!
