I use and trust SanDisk products, they have never let me down and to date none of my SanDisk devices have ever failed. However, this device loses 1 star due to the quality of the case. loose and will not remain blocked when the USB port is outside. For 256GB, it was formatted to Fat32, which is fine, but I expected at least exFat. (I always format my USB sticks to NTFS format. Let's just say it works and works well. It's fast but doesn't seem to hit as high as some of the other more expensive USB 3.0 sticks. But for the price it is it's definitely worth the money i will use it for long term storage first so i'm not too worried about the build quality.
