My family is very sensitive to heat when they sleep. The smallest piece of plastic, vinyl, synthetic will have you tossing and turning all night. Our bedding must be 100% cotton, from the mattress pad to the bed sheet and duvet. Finding a 100% cotton mattress pad is like looking for a needle in a haystack. I can't tell you how many sellers advertise their product as "100% cotton" only to find that the cover is cotton and the filling is synthetic. Both sides or synthetic lining or 95% cotton and 5% synthetic fill. Heck, why not just make it 100% cotton? Because cotton is more expensive. But nothing can duplicate the unparalleled sleep you get with 100% cotton mattress pads and sheets. Cotton naturally wicks moisture, it breathes and you sleep cooler. No, that doesn't mean it will magically cool you down like an air conditioner, or make you uncomfortably cold. This means you'll be comfortable yet snug - and less likely to sweat/overheat. I just returned a TwinXL & King mattress topper from a local retailer for $450! It was advertised as 100% cotton but had a plastic backing. Tell us about the sauna! So I've been looking for this 100% cotton mattress pad on Revain for over an hour, and is it organic? The?! I was skeptical but bought two - King and Twin XL. Don't worry about this product! The pads arrived sealed and boxed and come with a reusable dust cover. A high-quality pillow is tied with a bow. I mean how can a mattress topper be so high quality? It's also organic cotton, and because it's unbleached it has a beautiful ivory color. It will make a wonderful gift as it is perfect in every way. I love the fact that I don't sleep on chemicals and dyes. I washed in the front loader, dried according to the instructions and then did the actual test. It fit my 15 inch king mattress perfectly edge to edge and around the corners across the entire top and the elastic went under the mattress. Soft cotton with a honeycomb pattern that creates raised areas for airflow and prevents the batting from shifting or bunching. I couldn't believe how well everyone slept. The quality is simply the best I've seen for pads twice the size of Land's End I almost didn't write a review because I wanted to keep it a secret! I bought two more sets so I will have another one to alternate with. Another great thing - TwinXL fits the Split California King mattress, which you can't find a 100% cotton mattress pad for. I hope that the manufacturer will continue with this quality product!
