I installed 10 of these in the ceiling. Creates a neat, compact look. However, the quality control is not perfect. Two mounts had cross-threaded mounting rings so they could not be used. Two others had loose pitch control screws that are easy to fix. You will need a 3" mounting hole to attach spring clips and the ability to adjust the rotation. Most of them came with a low voltage MR16 socket.
