I bought these to go through my size 45.5 Specialized Comp mountaineering boots. They fit well with the size Large. They are easier to put on if you first open the velcro and zipper. Then you pull it over your leg and put on the boot. Slip it on over your shoes, fasten the Velcro and zip up. Fits perfectly. They are very light and thin, lined with light fleece. They don't restrict your pedaling at all. If you intend to ride in very cold weather, you should look for a thicker shell (neoprene is in this price range). For moderately cold periods, they work well. I'm wondering how long the velcro on the bottom will last, but for the price, I'm willing to take a chance.
