When I first bought furniture online I was a little apprehensive. But this is the second piece of Stone and Beam furniture I've bought (to match our entertainment console) and I'm happy to say we're very pleased. The material is not cheap chipboard with a laminated surface or anything like that; it is solid wood. The handles are not faux iron; They are real iron. They are almost fully assembled. All you have to do is install the handles.
