You get what you pay for!

I got both Kleen Kanteen and Hydro Flask at the same time, I think you get what you pay for in this situation, although they appear very similar, in reality they are completely different quality levels. Having owned a Hydro Flask, I'm not sure I would ever recommend the Klean Kanteen to anyone unless you don't really care about the obvious benefits, which I'll mention in a moment. Kleen Kanteen: Great if you're just looking for a basic, very affordable, stainless steel water bottle that does little to insulate against the cold. The outer coating is pretty slick, you probably won't drop it regularly unless you pay proper attention to it, but it's quite slippery. The metal/outside coating is then nice (e.g. when I washed it with hot water in it almost burned my hand that was OUTSIDE the bottle), it also sweats profusely when filled with cold water and forms a big puddle. Wherever he was. Hydro Flask: The distinguishing feature is the outer coating, it holds well and does not slip out of the hand. The ice stays in my hydroflask much longer, around 8-12 hours depending on how much ice I put in it. the hand does not freeze from water). Also, the hydroflask does not sweat at all even when filled with ice water in hot environment. TLDR: You get what you pay for. If you don't care about a poorly insulated water bottle with a slick finish that sweats a lot, this is for you. I recommend Hydroflasks if you plan on using these types of items very often.
