Best camera for the price

I've never bothered to write a review for any product I buy here, but this camera is an exception: it's just (almost) perfect. Please see other five star reviews for a detailed idea of how great the camera is. I can only agree with many of them, I will add a few points that I like about this camera. 1. The zoom is pretty sharp and fast for the size of the camera. I carry it in my pocket and it doesn't feel bulky at all.2. The automated features are great, but if you're happy to experiment with manual settings, they're all available to you. I love playing with manual controls and you won't find many point and shoots that will make you want to play with all of them. My only issue is that if you set your shutter speed too fast, the camera doesn't give you any feedback on how dark your picture will be. You will learn how the picture turned out after you pressed the shutter button. A few years ago I had a SONY Cybershot (it was stolen) and it showed you exactly what you would get in the preview if you used the manual settings. In any case, it's fine. I had a Cybershot a year ago but it didn't impress me so I returned it. I like that you can open the shutter for a few seconds, for example, to create artistic effects, or with a tripod, for example, to get a good exposure in the sky.3. This allows you to play with the ISO and get pretty much whatever you want, as long as you don't mind getting perfect shots every time. It also has modes where you choose shutter speed or aperture, and it tries to tweak other settings to get the best picture. One thing I love about this camera is that it lets you risk getting the perfect shot if you want to force some of the picture settings you want. The automatic modes are comprehensive, get the PDF manual online (readily available from Fujifilm website) if you need to master them all.5. For some crazy reason they decided to give you very fast shutter speeds for movies (up to 320fps), really cool for a point and shoot camera. It's really cool to play with them. If you just want Full HD 30 fps, that option is also available. Or you can get lower quality with less memory if you want. Those high speeds are listed somewhere in the description on the Fujifilm website, if you want to check them out just google the Finepix F505EXR. I couldn't believe you could get them so cheap in a cell but when I got them it was the first thing I checked and they are there for you to play with a little. In short, I think the camera is pretty good for a camera. Price. You don't even need digital zoom, but it's easy to activate, just read the PDF manual.
