This product is perfect for my bedroom. Check the product specs before you buy, especially if you're considering buying a boom box volume surround sound system, as you'll be disappointed you didn't do your homework. There is at least one other reviewer who helped me purchase this product because its application was similar to mine. I installed a 27" LG TV in my bedroom with a single HDMI input (no fiber optic audio output capability) set up with HDMI Roku streaming. Speaker. The bedroom volume needed to be lower than my entertainment room sound system. I had some spare Bose speakers laying around that I was planning to use to set up my TV in the bedroom. The Pyle PFA540BT amplifier is perfect for my application without compromising quality. I connected two Bose speakers (using 16 gauge cable) to the amp, plugged a Roku stick into one of the amp's two HDMI inputs, plugged an HDMI cable into the amp's HDMI output and the other end of the cable plugged into the TV. I also connected an F-type wire antenna to the amplifier's antenna jack to use the built in FM radio when I'm not watching TV. The amp also has AUX inputs which I haven't used yet. I've been using the above setup for over a month now and am very happy with the Pyle amp. At 20 watts per channel, the amp has enough power to drive Bose speakers with sufficient volume when the volume control is set about halfway. I can stream video to my TV using the input mode set on the Roku flash drive. The sound quality from Bose speakers is much better than TV speakers. There is no problem syncing the voice with the video streaming from the Roku Stick. The remote control of the amplifier is very easy to use. Although the instructions may seem sparse, they are very clear on how to operate the system. The remote control has separate control buttons for all functions and all controls are also on the amplifier unit. The amp also picks up many FM radio stations with the simple wire antenna I added. The amplifier has a large memory capacity for storing your favorite stations. The Bluetooth function of the amplifier also works perfectly. I connected my laptop with Windows 10 to the amplifier via bluetooth. Of course, the incredible sound of the Bose speakers was way better than the laptop speakers. The Bluetooth connection to my iPhone was also possible without any problems. The Pyle PFA540BT amplifier is a beautiful and well-built inexpensive unit that occupies a small footprint. It sits neatly on my dresser next to the TV. I didn't set up my bedroom entertainment system for surround sound, but you can connect up to five speakers and a subwoofer. I am very happy with the purchase I made because I chose the right product for my application.
