I'll state the obvious: A fan's performance is proportional to the amount of direct sunlight it receives. Some reviewers note that performance isn't very good, and I would agree if it were a cloudy day. However, in bright sunlight, this fan can actually move air! My daughter and I built a small ring greenhouse and use this fan to bring in cooler air. It does an excellent job and we are very happy with it as it keeps the greenhouse from overheating. Before installing a fan, we often had plants that withered because it was too hot there. Now it's much better with the fan. Of course, the fan will run slower on days when the sun isn't as bright, but again, there's less need for a fan. So everything went great!
