The Miccus transceiver works as I wanted, although the initial setup was a bit finicky. However, with patience I solved the problems that arose. (That's why the rating is 4 and not 5 stars.) Now it works very well and I'm very happy with this device. Let me describe my project. I wanted to stream my Comcast receiver programs to my Apple AirPods. Those of you with AirPods know they're just receivers and don't have the ability to adjust the volume. This must be done using a transmission device such as an iPhone, iPad, computer, etc. By feeding the Miccus a variable audio signal, I can connect my AirPods to see what's playing on the TV and control the volume. if i could see it right This updated device can stream to two devices, so my wife and I can use our AirPods at the same time to listen to programs together. Once paired, AirPods will automatically reconnect to Miccus once the case is opened. No noticeable problems syncing video and audio - impressive. So easy to use! While I'm not taking advantage of all the advanced features of this miccus, I recommend this device to anyone who needs to stream audio to their AirPods from a non-Apple device.
