Review on Multicolor Washable Life Cotton Cocktail by Joe Calabro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal! All cotton, wash well, few opinions, soft and dense!

Wanted to use cloth napkins for years just to save money. But they were so expensive; If I wanted to save something, I had to do something of my own, and that just didn't happen. When all the stationery sold out, I thought about using bandanas, which you can buy anytime in a neighboring town for a dollar each. I thought I'd just order some as it wasn't possible to take four kids. Well, online bandanas are either expensive or not very good, so I went ahead and looked at cloth napkins. Guess what? You were of great value! I have these that are just the right style and fabric. I wanted everything to be cotton although it will have stains but it is much nicer to use. This ad said "beveled corners," so I looked at the picture and saw that not only did it have beveled corners, it also had a large hem that I hoped would reduce wrinkles. Aha! They aren't wrinkle resistant but I gave them 5 stars because they are all cotton and wrinkle resistant enough that I don't feel the need to iron them. I figured I'd have to iron them at least the first few times they've been washed, but I only did a hot wash the first time and they came out great. To set a beautiful table, one would like to caress them, but it would be easy, and then they would look very elegant. We love using them! Much better than the cheap paper napkins we used. We just fold them up and leave a pile in an old napkin holder. The basket on the counter picks up the dirt. I'm very glad I made this switch! I think I might buy a few in a different color to use on tissues. . . .

Pros
  • GREAT GIFT IDEA: The classic check pattern goes with most kitchen decors. A great hostess gift for a dinner or Thanksgiving party, or a gift for a cooking or baking lover at Christmas, Mother's Day, birthdays or housewarming.
