Used these on a cruise ship. Worked great to hang hats, shirts, and my toiletry bag on the bathroom door. However, need to mention that for it to hold 100 lbs, you need to put it on a really thick metal surface. For example, hook could hold my toiletry bag on the thick metal bathroom door, but not on the inside wall of the cabin. So I couldn't hang my purse or backpack up as it would just slide to the floor. We have a fabrication clean room made out of a reclaimed steel shipping container. I figured that hanging aprons and hardware by the entrance would be a lot easier and less damaging with magnetic hooks instead of drilling the steel. These hooks are excellent! Sturdy (the hook is screwed into the magnet base to you can take it out and screw something else if you want). I previously bought magnetic hooks from Harbor Freight and they were not nearly as strong and magnetic as these. Great value.
