Very strong. Excellent quality. I love and recommend them but be warned! These work super well and will buy again. They are attractive too. I love to use on steel shelves. Warning! One day I picked up 3 of them stuck together. Somehow one of them moved to magnetize to another (while I was trying to pull them apart) but my skin from my hand was in-between. I yelled to my daughter to pull magnets apart. Very painful. Drew blood and caused a bruise. Hurt very much. I can't imagine the outcome if I didn't have anyone to pull them apart. Do not let children play with these and be careful if you have 2 or more of them in your hand.
