Let me start by saying I’m an overweight woman who carrys it all in her belly. As I pulled this dress from the bag and ensued trying it on, a struggle began. The bottom of the dress is SMALL. I pulled the bottom over my head all while wondering how this thing was going to fit over my belly. That thought evaded me momentarily as I found myself pulling against the material in a battle to find the top. I was effectively swimming in a sea of soft polyester type material. Each time I’d pull, it would slip away in another area. After moments of feeling like I would never get it on, the light finally appeared in the neck hole, then began the struggle of finding the arm holes. At last, achievement reached! Now for the next level of getting it over the belly! Struggling and pulling and realizing I may never get this thing off once on, it finally slipped over and draped around my feet. Success! Then I took a step, or attempted to. I penguin walked over to my full length mirror to see the results of my struggle. Not bad! I like it. I could see me drinking coffee on a Saturday morning whilst lounging in this. Then I quickly came back to reality and realized the only way I’d be able to comfortably wear this would be by cutting slits in the bottom…and they would need to be long slits that would most likely hamper the drape of the dress. So the struggle to remove the dress ensued and after being completely exhausted from trying it on, I quickly bagged it up for return.It’s a cute dress, but be aware the bottom is really small.
