Review on πŸŒ™ KOZE Melatonin-Blocking Sleep Bulb by Jake Atonyo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

What you are paying for is low Kelvin temperatures

Unfortunately, as someone with rare sun sickness, I know too much about color temperature. For me, I'm only safe at temperatures below 3000 Kelvin. The lower the color temperature rating, the more confident I am. Most lamps these days are 2700 Kelvin, for people like me, while most on the market are 5000-6500 Kelvin, which is daylight. 2700 effectively eliminates blue light. However, it is still stimulating in terms of wakefulness. Lower levels like 2000 and 1500 are actually more effective at telling your body to shut down for the night so it can recover while you sleep. These are 1600 Kelvin bulbs, a Kelvin rating that is not common. So you're paying a lot for just two bulbs here, but it's worth it. If, like me, you suffer from sun diseases like porphyria or lupus, they will literally save your life. I love these lightbulbs. Nothing in my house exceeds 3000 Kelvin, which means a 2700K lightbulb looks like daylight to me, but those 1600K lightbulbs are signaling my brain to lower the temperature for the night. There is no alternative to this and for me it is worth the money. I love them and would highly recommend them to anyone with sleeping issues and also those with sun sickness because we adjust to 3000,000 bulbs and then they don't calm us down at night so we need a lower light. Temperature. I've met people who need red, anything red pears under 1000K to calm down and produce melatonin, so I'm grateful they work so well for me and others in my home. That's great. Good luck with your search.
