Overall 3 stars. Quality construction, impractical for intended use. I usually like things that are a bit crowded, but considering where and how this cable is going to be used, it's just too big and unwieldy. You cannot run this cable through a window or door and expect the window/door to close properly without completely crushing the cable. I was planning to drill a hole in my garage wall to connect the camera that is installed outside my garage door. Both ends of the cable are too thick. You will need at least a 3/4 inch hole to get the "small" end through, which is VERY large for the rest of the cable. The only solution I could think of was to cut the cord, thread it through a small hole in my wall, and then tie the cord together. what I did. WARNING: The wires inside are VERY small and unless you have very good wire splicing skills DO NOT CUT this cable. I used custom heat shrink connectors with solder built into them and soldered the entire wire with a bic lighter. The picture is deceptive, these connections are VERY small.
