Very beautiful and was very excited when it arrived. It's heavy and really solid, big with lots of room for lots of accessories... quite impressive. The color on the outside is a soft, subtle blush, the inside is a beautiful metallic copper finish, and together they complement each other beautifully. Unfortunately, my excitement ended there, as when I placed it on the kitchen counter to fill, I noticed that the paint, both inside and out, was peeling as if melting. In the end some of the items I filled it with were wet which caused the paint to peel off. I tried to stop it and control the paint peeling by drying it with a paper towel, but that only made the paint smudge more and more. I ended up having to let it air dry, but it was too late and the damage was done. After it dried completely, I was left with a stained dish rack. I ended up admiring and enjoying my beautiful new placemat for a full ten minutes. It was really disappointing because you'd think something designed for the kitchen would handle moisture much better than it actually did. Luckily I didn't wash it first because maybe all the paint came off after seeing some devices wiped down with a damp paper towel finished with the holder. However, I wish the smile and joy I experienced had lasted longer than ten minutes.
