so far they have been great. They are much heavier and stronger than other bindings I've tried for the same price. (Atlantic model). I have no problem with them on regular carpet with the 2lb speakers installed. (Klipsch HD1000 satellite speakers) Installation was easy. There's a ton of hardware included, and the mount works to go with just about anything. I was able to run some 12 ga wires with a mangled wire hanger, some channel locks, tape and elbow grease. The supplied screws were not compatible with my speakers (thread too fine). However, I was able to use the included washers with screws I already had (from the speaker kit) to mount the speakers with ease. Spend $10 of your savings at a hardware store and I'm sure you can get any combination of gear you need. It's just great quality for the price. I've seen other reviewers have quality control issues. I'm happy to report that I haven't experienced any of that.
