Review on 📸 Nikon COOLPIX B500 Digital Camera (Red): Capturing Memorable Moments in Vivid Detail by Bhavin Patel ᠌

Upset and disappointed, the product is very bad!

For a very long time I chose a camera to replace the Panasonic Lumix TZ7. I reread the sea of reviews, reviewed a bunch of reviews and opted for the Nikon Coolpix B500 model. I bought it for the high performance of the matrix 16 and a good zoom 40. I will say one thing - the photos and videos of the seven-year-old Lumix are much better! When I read negative reviews about similar models with ultrazooms, where they wrote the same thing, I couldn’t believe that a new modern model with improved parameters, and even for such a price, could give such terrible results. I compared photos and videos of two cameras in the same conditions: Nikon has more grainy blurry edges. About video in general, a separate conversation: video is very important for me, because. I often shoot a child, but here the camera could not catch the focus for a long time, and then when approaching it, it lost it all the time, when the camera moved, the light flickered and the coarseness changed, in general, the video simply shocked me. The manufacturer wrote that the camera can shoot video apparently just for show. Summing up: 1) the focus adjusts for a very long time, so it’s impossible to shoot objects in motion at all (I tried to shoot my son without a flash - everything is blurry, out of 6 shots, only one is more or less when he sat down without moving); 2) began to zoom closer - the closer, the more blurry, not clear contours; 3) the video is no good; 4) in general, I was disappointed to tears with the device for 20 thousand and took it back to the store on the same day, of course they didn’t return the money, but took it for examination for 10 days, in general, now I’m waiting for a refund with my beloved Lumix . My advice: buy only the camera that someone you know has already used and you know exactly what you can expect from it.

Pros
  • Can't find any positives
Cons
  • Pictures are fuzzy, blurry, it is impossible to shoot a subject in motion. The video is not good at all (like on an ancient phone)
