Review on πŸ”Œ Enhance Engine Performance with ACDelco Professional 9466H Spark Plug Wire Set by Kyle Robbins

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I quickly regretted not going with something else.

Repaired, just installed Taylor Spiro Pro wire harness, made specifically for the latest Wrangler. Low resistance cable with no radio interference. MADE IN THE USA. Very nice, very high quality wires. Perfect size, perfect clips, and mine was 100% double layer red silicone. I couldn't be happier. Heck, even the box of the product was better in every way. Laugh out loud. Pay twice as much but easily 10 times more. They are unmarked but it only took me 3 minutes to take them apart and mark them with a sharpy marker. GUESS THAT when I removed the AcSmellco cables, having already decided it was low quality junk, I had a lot of fun *2 MORE* cables by unplugging the connector terminals! That renders 3 out of 6 cables completely useless after 200 miles! Again, I used a Leslie connector pliers and lots of dielectric grease. Not sure if it's bad design, bad batch, no quality control or the female clips were misquoted, but it's funny. AcDelco is/was a respected brand and I thought the "Professional" line would be their flagship line. INCORRECT. It was just poop in a box. Edit: This is garbage. Misfiring started after installing new spark plugs and wires. I traced all the wires to make sure they were in the right place, took off my boots and kicked them out to make sure they snapped into the connectors. Wire number 3 fell apart leaving a clip on the connector! I used a gentle twisting twisting motion with special wire cutters and a ton of dielectric grease. Unacceptable! The original Mopar cables were 8 years old, almost completely fused to the original connectors and not yet falling apart. AVOID! Original: Spend your money and choose higher quality. They are cheap and the right size but not marked. This becomes a problem when you bundle 3 passenger wires into their wire splitters and throw them around the back of the air intake and then can't tell which is which when it's time to connect them to the coil. Sometimes it seems like the engineers have gone to great lengths to make repairs to the jk as difficult as possible. At least Mopar's labeled cables save you the hassle.

Pros
  • Isolator uses high dielectric materials
Cons
