This extender is a little more expensive than average but very durable. It has a mostly metallic body and the power cord is thick. It all looks like it was built to last. The outlets are further apart than I've found on most power strips, making it less likely that a large plug will block adjacent outlets. However, this adds a certain dimension. There is a power switch to turn off the entire bar and each outlet has its own switch as well. Each has a light so it's easy to tell if it's off or on. This can be a good strip to use in places like a garage or workshop because of its durability.
