First of all, make sure that you note that the "flowers" are red and white and only the white ones display different colors after dark. The red ones basically stay red. I don't know what I was expecting, but I didn't read the description well enough and definitely wasn't expecting the red ones. Okay, so again, they aren't real flowers so I don't know what I was expecting, but they aren't particularly attractive in the light of day either.On the plus side, they stay lit for and last a long time. I purchased the "lily" version in the spring of 2020 to bring to a cemetery. They have been out in all kinds of weather, including heavy snow and rain and they continue to shine bright every night. The color on the cloth that makes up the lilies has faded some, but they still work fine and the new "roses" have now joined them. They don't look quite as sturdy as the lilies, but I fully expect that they'll last too.
