Positive Definitely Noise Reduction. Even on the lowest setting I can't hear anything and I live in a very noisy area with dogs barking all night. Even the noises I normally hear in my room are inaudible on the lowest settings. Blocks all light. The charging port has red and blue lights that let you know when charging is complete. Let an automated voice know when you're connected, disconnected, or toggled on and off. The speakers are soft and comfortable for side sleepers like me. Easy to charge and connect. Get the electronics out first, yes. Negative - too much coverage. The velcro keeps pulling on my hair! Won't let me answer the phone as advertised. The inside of the mask leaves dents on the face. The fabric in the mask is a bit uncomfortable. With all the negatives I will use them anyway because it costs too much and takes too long to return. It sounds negative but I really like this mask and plan to buy more for my family.
