There are no instructions or directions for it, so be prepared to watch some videos to learn how to use it. However, the videos I could find used a much better tool than this one. I wasn't impressed. I used the same methods as the best tool and really got enough pellets on my felt. Not easy to use. He assembled my test piece enough for me to flip it, but from there I went back to using my arms and rolling.
