The Active Shorts are good for the price
I'm 5'10", 180 pounds, middle aged (so my stomach is an issue when it comes to fit). I chose size XL based on the chart. Landing is comfortable. Order a large one to get the abdominal compression. However, I like the comfort of a slightly looser fit. The material is soft. I haven't worked it in or washed it but I really like them now.
