Cute shorts, but order a size up
I'm 6'0", 200lbs, and have hips. I wear an XL in almost all women's shorts. After reading reviews, I sized up and ordered a 2XL, and they fit perfectly. The fabric is a little stiff, but hopefully that will change after wearing and washing.
