I use this device or my iPad all the time when I play games, read email or watch videos. I can change the angle to straight up or almost horizontal. It's heavy enough to be very stable while playing games on my iPad and thin enough to easily fit in my carry-on or shoulder bag. I bought one for my husband he uses it for his phone, I have a second one that I bought for my phone and I bought one for my sister and my two adopted daughters. I highly recommend!
