This classic steak knife comes in its original sealed packaging and is dispatched and delivered very quickly. I'm a die-hard fan of Victorinox steak knives, I first got this from a friend who was traveling to Europe and bought a set very cheaply there a few decades ago. These knives don't break or dull easily, the only reason you'll need to replace them is if they get lost. :) They don't look fancy and many are skeptical about their longevity, but once you've tried them you always want to walk away with one. I use them as a daily chef's knife, not just for steaks. . There is a difference with a similar set with an ergonomic Fibrox handle (the so-called Swiss Classic Gourmet steak knife), please note when ordering (it costs more). The handles on this set are slightly shorter, thinner, look cheaper, and aren't as comfortable for long-term use, but the blades feel the same, just as sharp, and durable in both. See my photos for comparison. The thicker knurled handle (gourmet version) is more comfortable for everyday cooking of large amounts of food, but I use both types interchangeably. Definitely worth the money spent!
