Review on Slackware by Greg Anderson

It's very easy to install, it doesn't have a lot of extra programs so you can actually learn how linux works. I'm using it for my server because it allows me to easily configure things without getting into the terminal. I've been playing around with it and I love Slack. I had some issues at first but they were all solved fairly quickly. There are a few problems with it. For instance the keyboard shortcuts are not so clear, but that's pretty minor. I'd recommend Slack if you're looking for a great general purpose desktop OS. You can run multiple programs at once without having to minimize them or close them out, which is good. I also like the fact that it uses less memory than other distros. I like that it's very stable and has all my favorite apps pre-installed. It also does not have many unnecessary features or bloatware. The only thing I don't really care for about slackware is how you can't easily add new programs to your computer without uninstalling everything first. If you are looking for something simple and easy to install but still powerful then this would be perfect! I am able to get things done quickly and efficiently when using slackware.
