I bought this product over a year ago and wanted to give it a try before I write a review. i did this The heat shrink tubing isn't the best, but it's pretty good. The metal that makes up the crimp is very thin. The thickness is given in the reviews of others. If the wire is moved or bent in any way after installing this connector, the connector sleeve will deform and the wire can be easily pulled out. If you use it on an electric motor or internal combustion engine, the vibrations during normal operation will cause the cable to fall out and break the connection. No need to wiggle the wire from side to side; You can just pull it straight out. Before anyone says "you need the best press toolโ you should know that I have a full cycle amp press tool โ the best there is and the standard for airplane work. I've also used other standard crimpers and the result is the same. The cost of professional connectors may seem a bit high in comparison, but in the end they are minimal compared to a faulty connection. If you're lucky, your car will just leave you; If you work on an airplane, which I do, the breakdown can be much more serious. Buy good things.
