At first I hated this bag. I wanted it to sit on my right shoulder with no additional straps for comfort. I couldn't do it as he didn't stay but watched the video and realized the straps weren't positioned correctly when I received the bag. I flex my left shoulder so I can turn forward to access the camera without dropping my arm. Good. (I've gone to different places to put it in since it opens on the side, not the top.) It's not a quick surgery though, as you have to make sure you close it properly or you'll lose your lenses. Everything can come out easily if you don't zip it up completely. When the narrow strap is fastened over the left shoulder, it sits perfectly on the back. Very convenient. You have to solve it to start it over. I wore the loop at the top which came undone.
