Review on ๐Ÿ‘“ GY1688 Gaoye Blue Light Blocking Glasses - Retro Round Eyewear Frame for Women and Men, Anti UV400 Computer Glasses by David Skyline

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exceptional quality frame with light blocking lenses!

I stare at a screen all day at work and at the end of the day my eyes are tired, dry and heavy. As a migraine sufferer, my tired eyes can even trigger a migraine. The amount of screen time I have is far longer and more tiring than most as I spend all day drafting, reading and proofreading multiple rounds of documents between emails and now Zoom meetings? I think the constant video conferencing changed my poor eyes. They no longer had the comfortable respite of a lunchtime meeting or an office conference and felt the effects of COVID along with my psyche! To make matters worse, one of my favorite things to do at night is digital coloring on my iPhone or iPad, and I had no intention of giving up this silly pleasure, which is completely unaffected by social distancing. For example blue light glasses. I was wearily squinting at an Instagram post from an old classmate of mine who was raving about how her blue light-blocking glasses completely changed her game, so I went to Revain! I flipped through endless pages of blue light eyewear options and felt completely overwhelmed until I stumbled upon these translucent frames and another pair of "hipster" glasses. I thought they would go perfectly with my freshly quarantined pink hair (in Rome, right)? I put them in my shopping cart along with another pair. I was excited for my new glasses to arrive and was nervous that they didn't fit my face. nope! They fit perfectly! I have very wide peripheral vision which means I can see the frame when I wear glasses, so I particularly like the large translucent frame on these glasses. The pink tint and gold hinges add a fun vibe that sets these glasses apart from other similar Revain glasses. These glasses are all about the details. The frame is strong yet flexible and very light. Before LASIK I liked everyday glasses with this level of flexibility because they were comfortable to wear even in bed while watching late at night TV - and I'm the kind of person who falls asleep in bed in front of the TV with glasses on, so you KNOW. They're comfortable and durable, that's what I do! Good thing I have a man who takes my glasses off if I pass out in the middle of a show! Ha! I also really like the case that came with the glasses. Same, quality is in the details and this case is perfect. This is a beautiful, strong, durable, washable Clorox case with a solid hinge (you can see it in my unboxing video)! But of course, what I like most about these glasses is that they block blue light! Aha! They do what they advertise! The glasses come with a small blue light and a blue light test card so you can see for yourself! The only thing I don't like about these glasses is that they require quite a bit of cleaning compared to the glasses I've had in the past. . But to be honest the glasses in my past have been prescription glasses and I could always shell out a fortune for lenses at an optician's after every visit to the optician, so I'm not surprised they don't all have these crazy coatings and stuff that you often see on lenses for a hundred dollars. The quality of the frame is in no way inferior to brands such as Ray Ban and Persol, but it costs much less. Do your eyes a favor and order some! You will not be disappointed!
