We used pegs to help him stay in the sand but apparently the pegs aren't staying in the sand. When it's upright the tent is great, but every time the wind blows (which every beach has in abundance) it tends to sag a bit, I feel like the construction just isn't very strong . Also, it's not that easy to put it back in your pocket. I still love it and it's very easy to take to the beach and I intend to use it in the future and for the money I think it's a worthwhile buy.
