Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Improved KYB 344272 Excel-G Gas Shock for Enhanced Performance by Dave Rasic

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a perfect fit but manageable

Front shock absorbers for 1978 F250 with 460 CID. The lower sleeve was slightly too big in the eye. The diameter was ok but the length was an issue. I had to sand the edges a bit to fit the bracket on the truck. On the plus side - the ride is comfortable and believe it or not the nut on the bayonet was SAE! Usually things made outside of the US are metric, so kudos to KYB for making sure the hardware is the same. Also, shock absorbers are made in Japan. I am very glad they are not made in China. If the hub didn't need to be ground I would have given them a 5 star rating.
