We order these chairs because they are very similar to our dining chairs and allow us to seat 12 at the dining table instead of 8. Difficult to get them to open and close. We ended up using some W-D40 which made the opening and closing process easier. Unfortunately, the first time we all used them at a dinner party, one of the chairs broke a rivet and slightly knocked the chair over when one of our guests sat on it. We contacted the company and were very happy with the customer service representative who arranged for the chair to be replaced within a week. The replacement was a lot easier to open and close than the original 4, so that's a plus. The chairs are only used when we have company so I hope all 4 chairs will be ready for use at the next event.
