Overheated and melted body! Do not buy!

I purchased this from another store that has their headquarters in Arkansas. I put in fresh, brand new batteries. When we turned it on my son said it was getting hot. It later stopped working and when I took the iPod Touch out of the case I noticed that the bottom hard case (green and black) started to melt! Please don't waste your money on this device.
