It's too early to judge a shoe's quality or durability, however. 4 stars as I have had NB in the past and have high expectations. Here it is, fresh out of the box. first time on Size - I always take a 9 as I have wide feet but the size has gone down from my 'normal' to an 8.5 but I chose the 'Wide' option. love the width! I probably should have picked 8 wow my show size is wrong lol. Color - White is actually white leather accents, mesh/fabric panels glow like a metallic purple depending on the lighting. This is probably a reflection for the street, because sitting here now the show looks white with a thin silver N and 3 silver accents. Foot Padding - Just walking around the house feels like there's arch support, but it also feels like there's an inch of support. under the heel but only 1/2 under the toes. The fabric is only partially leather, but there is leather on the sides and front of the toe, so there's no sock-like feel. I'd say half fabric/half leather and definitely not to be worn in the rain. And probably no winter shoes because of the fabric. Probably great for summer, the fabric needs to be breathable to allow the foot to breathe. Laces - The sneakers have holes for the laces, not just connected eyelets that tighten. I found the included laces to be very long. It is good if you make a double knot.
