This hat is everything! We live in Florida and need a good sun hat for our toddler boy. It fits perfect and is so comfortable and lightweight. It is vented so his head doesn’t sweat terribly. He is 17 months old and this hat fits him perfectly with some room to grow. It has an adjustable headband so you can make the hat smaller or bigger accordingly. We have his adjusted around his head about halfway in (pulling cord in from extended all the way out). I suggest you measure your child’s head, since some kids heads run big. Our son’s head is not very big, but he has room to grow. When I wash this hat I wash on cold and use a baseball hat washer frame to protect it and help keep its shape then air dry it.
